Report

CMDBuild includes a complete reporting engine based on the open‑source JasperStudio project.

Reports are designed by the administrator using a powerful visual editor, imported into CMDBuild in XML format, and made available from the operators’ menu.

Several types of reports can be configured:

  • tabular reports with subreports, groups, and totals
  • documents with images and logos
  • reports with statistics and charts
  • labels with barcodes

Reports can be exported in PDF or CSV format.

Printing a report​

A report is printed by selecting the corresponding menu entry.

Custom report parameters can be defined and are requested at rendering time.Before generating the output, CMDBuild displays a popup asking for the required parameters (in the example above, the print date).

Once confirmed, CMDBuild displays the output in the right area of the page. Using the tools in the upper‑right corner, you can reload or download the report.
