Document Management System
CMDBuild natively supports two Document Management Systems: Alfresco and Microsoft SharePoint (see the DMS configuration in the Administration Module).
To use a different DMS, you can develop a dedicated plugin and install it through the Plugin Manager.

Before version 4, CMDBuild connected to the DMS through the CMIS standard. To ensure backward compatibility with existing installations, the CMIS plugin is available to keep using CMIS-compatible repositories.
