System data mapping

This page describes how data retrieved from the source service is mapped into records generated by the connector.

For each record type, the following information is reported:

• the property name exposed by the connector;
• the path from which the value is obtained in the source service;
• any additional note regarding transformations, enrichments or special behaviours.

Each record mapping section is titled {Source Object Name} ({_type}), combining the object name used by the source service with the internal record type produced by the connector.

Source paths refer to the objects of the Azure Resource Manager SDK for Java. In the notes, "list" means a list of values separated by a space.

Common properties

The following properties are present in almost all records. They are not repeated in the sections below, unless their source differs.

Notes

• The record types computesku and storagesku have only the properties listed in their section, together with name and region.
• The record type subscription has no region, subscription and resource_group properties; the record type resourcegroup has no resource_group property.
• The record types container, subnet, blobcontainer, fileshare, queue, table, dnsrecordset, privatednsrecordset and sqldb have no region and tags properties unless explicitly listed in their section. The record type container has no id property.
• The records of type loadbalancernetworkrelation, loadbalancersubnetrelation and privatednszonenetworkrelation have only the subscription and resource_group common properties.

Subscription

Subscription (subscription)

An Azure subscription of the tenant. Only the subscriptions selected by the Subscriptions and Excluded subscriptions instance attributes are read.

Compute

Compute SKU (computesku)

A virtual machine size available in a region. SKUs are read, once for each region and size, for the regions where at least one virtual machine or virtual machine scale set was found.

Storage

Storage accounts are split into three record types according to their kind: genericstorage (kind Storage or StorageV2), blobstorage (kind BlobStorage or BlockBlobStorage) and filestorage (kind FileStorage).

Storage SKU (storagesku)

A storage account SKU available in a region. SKUs are read, once for each region, kind and name, for the regions where at least one storage account was found.
