Homepage
CMDBuild allows configuring Homepage pages made up of the same kinds of components used in dashboards: charts (Bar, Pareto, Gauge, Pie, Line), tables, lists, tile groups, calendars and text blocks, plus a dedicated Search component. Homepages are viewed in the Management Module.
Each Homepage supports a fully customizable layout: the Administrator defines rows, columns and column widths, and places components via drag and drop.

Properties tab
General properties
In this section you can configure the Group. Unlike regular dashboards, each Homepage is associated with a specific user group:
- Users belonging to that group see the corresponding Homepage when they log in.
- If a user's group has no Homepage assigned, the default Homepage is shown instead.
Layout
The layout is configured exactly as for standard dashboards (see Dashboard), including rows, columns, column proportions and the available components.

The only difference is one additional component, Search, which lets users search across the whole application directly from the Homepage. In the settings of the component it is also possible to add an image.
Permissions tab
This section allows configuring permissions on the current Homepage.
For details on permission management, refer to the relative section.
Settings
This section allows you to configure the global settings of the CMDBuild Homepage:
- Enabled: checkbox that enables or disables the Homepage. If disabled, no CMDBuild user sees a Homepage in the Management Module.
- Search mode: combo box that sets whether the Search component works in default mode or in AI mode.

Default mode
When default mode is selected, a Search on classes fieldset is shown. Through a tree, you select the classes to search in when a user performs a search.
For example, if only the classes Building and Company are checked, a user searching with the Search component sees, as results, only the cards belonging to these two classes.
AI mode
When AI mode is selected, the search is performed using artificial intelligence.
AI mode requires an AI plugin to be installed (for example, PowerFinder).
